Mary Kate Lyons

Mary Kate began art in 2015, in the Advanced Studio Art class at Pickerington High School North.  This is where she found her passion and purpose in life.  She had originally planned on attending school for fashion design, but after experimenting in that area, she felt it wasn't right for her.  She found that she loves all kinds of two-dimensional art, her favorite being acrylic paints. Mary Kate now attends the Columbus College of Art and Design on a half-tuition scholarship.  Here, she is working on a degree in Advertisement and Graphic Design.  She hopes to, one day, design packaging for high-end cosmetic companies.
